AG (Artificial Ground Outsole)
A specialized football boot soleplate engineered with numerous short, hollowed, or circular molded studs designed to evenly distribute player pressure on 3G and 4G synthetic turf pitches, reducing knee torsion and stud-pressure discomfort.
Air Retention (FIFA Standard)
The capacity of a football bladder to maintain internal pressure over prolonged periods without reinflation. FIFA Quality Pro standards require balls to lose no more than a minimal fraction of air pressure after 72 hours.
Autoclaved Carbon Fiber
High-performance composite material cured under elevated temperature and positive pressure inside an autoclave chamber, maximizing resin compaction and tensile rigidity for elite shin guard shells and sprint cleat torsion shanks.
Bladder (Taiwan Butyl)
An internal airtight chamber made of multi-ply wound butyl rubber offering superior gas impermeability compared to natural latex, maintaining official match ball pressure for 4+ weeks without topping up.
Bonding Tensile Strength
The mechanical force required to peel an outsole away from an upper, measured in Newtons per millimeter (N/mm). SATRA standards require >3.5 N/mm; WideWay guarantees >4.2 N/mm across all cleat batches.
CE EN 13061:2009
The European standard specifying safety, ergonomic fit, and blunt impact energy dispersion criteria for athletic shin protectors worn in association football.
Contact Latex (German)
Ultra-premium open-cell natural latex compound manufactured in Germany, containing microscopic adhesive pores that deliver world-class ball grip in dry heat and pouring rain.
Dimple Aerodynamic Texture
Subtle spherical or geometric depressions embossed onto the outer polyurethane casing of a football, creating a turbulent boundary layer that stabilizes flight trajectory and reduces irregular knuckleball drift.
Durometer (Shore A / D)
Standardized measurement of material surface hardness used to calibrate cleat stud stiffness (Shore D 65–75) and goalkeeper glove foam cushion density (Shore A 20–30).
EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate)
Lightweight, flexible elastomeric copolymer foam used extensively for midsole cushioning, insole footbeds, and shock-absorbing backing pads in shin guards.
FG (Firm Ground Outsole)
Classic cleat stud configuration featuring 10 to 14 bladed or conical studs engineered to penetrate dry or slightly damp natural grass surfaces for linear sprint traction.
FIFA Quality Pro
The highest international performance benchmark for footballs, requiring rigorous laboratory passing marks for circumference, roundness, rebound uniformity, water absorption (<10%), and loss of pressure.
Flyknit Collar
Engineered 360-degree seamless circular-knit collar extending from the boot throat around the ankle, providing anatomical dynamic lockdown while eliminating traditional tongue pressure points.
FOB (Free On Board)
International commercial incoterm designating that WideWay covers all domestic transport, export documentation, and loading costs at the port of origin (FOB Xiamen or Quanzhou).
Futsal Low-Bounce Ball
Specialized Size 4 match ball stuffed with specialized fiber or foam dampeners inside the bladder, limiting rebound height to 55–65 cm when dropped from 2m on polished indoor courts.
Grip Socks (Silicone Hex)
Athletic socks engineered with high-friction molded medical-grade silicone suction pads heat-vulcanized to the sole, locking the foot to the boot insole to eradicate internal slippage and blisters.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
International standard tracking recycled content, chain of custody, and environmental practices. WideWay utilizes GRS 4.0 certified recycled post-consumer PET for teamwear fabrics.
Hybrid Cut (Goalkeeper Glove)
Modern glove pattern combining Roll Finger outer index/pinky fingers with Negative Cut inner fingers, maximizing both latex surface area and fingertip tactile control.
Hybrid Stitched & Bonded Ball
Dual-construction football where 32 panels are first machine-stitched along edges, then thermally bonded and sealed over an adhesive bladder, delivering water-resistant durability.
IC (Indoor Court Outsole)

Insole Strobel Construction
Footwear assembly method where the upper fabric is stitched directly to a flexible fabric insole board using a specialized strobel sewing machine before sole cementation.
Italian Sublimation Ink
Eco-friendly, solvent-free digital heat-transfer dyes produced by Swiss/Italian formulators (e.g. Kiian) that chemically fuse into polyester filaments under 210°C heat, guaranteeing zero fade.
Japanese Microfiber PU
Engineered non-woven synthetic leather mimicking the collagen fiber structure of genuine leather, offering uniform tensile strength, zero water uptake, and high tear resistance.
K-Leather (Kangaroo)
Premium natural touch leather characterized by tight, densely packed collagen fiber bundles that provide incredible softness, durability, and ball touch with thin skin thickness.
Negative Cut
Goalkeeper glove construction where gusset seams are stitched on the inside of the glove, producing a second-skin snug fit favored by elite European professional goalkeepers.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
Independent testing certificate confirming that textile yarns, inks, and zipper accessories contain no harmful carcinogens, heavy metals, or hazardous chemicals.
Poron XRD Foam
High-performance viscoelastic polyurethane memory foam that remains flexible at rest but instantly locks and hardens upon sudden blunt impact, dissipating up to 94% of impact force.
Rapid 3D CAD Lasting
Digital shoemaking workflow converting hand-drawn designer concepts into 3D CAD computer lasts and mould files within 24 to 48 hours for rapid CNC sample machining.
SATRA TM144
International physical laboratory test method assessing the slip resistance and dynamic frictional coefficient between footwear outsoles and wet/dry flooring surfaces.
SG (Soft Ground Cleats)

Sublimation Calender

TF (Turf Studs / Astroturf)

Thermal Bonding Football
Manufacturing process where pre-shaped outer polyurethane panels are fused together inside a spherical heated mold using heat-activated adhesives, creating a completely seamless ball.
Torsion Shank (Carbon Fiber)
Rigid composite plate positioned in the footwear midfoot between the heel and forefoot, preventing arch twisting while storing and snapping back elastic propulsion energy.
Water Uptake (<0.2%)
The metric evaluating how much water a football absorbs during submerged water agitation tests. While FIFA allows up to 10% weight gain, WideWay thermal balls achieve <0.2%.
